  1. Yeshua said to them, “The children of this age marry, and are given in marriage.

  2. But those who are considered worthy to attain to that age and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage.

  3. For they can’t die any more, for they are like the angels, and are children of God, being children of the resurrection.

  4. But that the dead are raised, even Moses showed at the bush, when he called the Lord ‘The God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.’

  5. Now he is not the God of the dead, but of the living, for all are alive to him.”

  11. This is the will of the one who sent me, that everyone who sees the Son, and believes in him, should have eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.”

  12. No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him, and I will raise him up in the last day.

  13. He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.

  14. Yeshua said to her, “Your brother will rise again.”

  15. Martha said to him, “I know that he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day.”

  16. Yeshua said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will still live, even if he dies.

  17. Yet a little while, and the world will see me no more; but you will see me. Because I live, you will live also.

  18. Therefore my heart was glad, and my tongue rejoiced. Moreover my flesh also will dwell in hope;

  19. because you will not leave my soul in Sheol, neither will you allow your Holy One to see decay.

  20. You made known to me the ways of life. You will make me full of gladness with your presence.’

  21. “Brothers, I may tell you freely of the patriarch David, that he both died and was buried, and his tomb is with us to this day.

  22. Therefore, being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him that of the fruit of his body, according to the flesh, he would raise up the Messiah to sit on his throne,

  23. he foreseeing this spoke about the resurrection of the Messiah, that neither was his soul left in Sheol, nor did his flesh see decay.

  24. As they spoke to the people, the priests and the captain of the temple and the Sadducees came to them,

  25. being upset because they taught the people and proclaimed in Yeshua the resurrection from the dead.
