  1. Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come.

  15. ¶ A Song of degrees. Behold, bless ye the LORD, all ye servants of the LORD, which by night stand in the house of the LORD.

  16. Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the LORD.

  17. The LORD that made heaven and earth bless thee out of Zion.

  18. ¶ By the rivers of Babylon, there we sat down, yea, we wept, when we remembered Zion.

  19. We hanged our harps upon the willows in the midst thereof.

  20. For there they that carried us away captive required of us a song; and they that wasted us required of us mirth, saying, Sing us one of the songs of Zion.

  21. How shall we sing the LORD'S song in a strange land?

  22. If I forget thee, O Jerusalem, let my right hand forget her cunning.

  23. If I do not remember thee, let my tongue cleave to the roof of my mouth; if I prefer not Jerusalem above my chief joy.

  24. ¶ In that day shall the branch of the LORD be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the earth shall be excellent and comely for them that are escaped of Israel.

  25. And it shall come to pass, that he that is left in Zion, and he that remaineth in Jerusalem, shall be called holy, even every one that is written among the living in Jerusalem:
