¶ There is that speaketh like the piercings of a sword: but the tongue of the wise [is] health.
O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.
For the mouth of the wicked and the mouth of the deceitful are opened against me: they have spoken against me with a lying tongue.

¶ Dead flies cause the ointment of the apothecary to send forth a stinking savour: [so doth] a little folly him that is in reputation for wisdom [and] honour.
I will open my mouth in a parable: I will utter dark sayings of old:
¶ My lips shall utter praise, when thou hast taught me thy statutes.
