  1. Ye shall not steale, neither deale falsely, neither lie one to another.

  2. Also yee shall not sweare by my name falsely, neither shalt thou defile the name of thy God: I am the Lord.

  3. If a false witnesse rise vp against a man to accuse him of trespasse,

  4. Then both the men which striue together, shall stand before ye Lord, euen before the Priests and the Iudges, which shall be in those daies,

  5. And the Iudges shall make diligent inquisition: and if the witnesse be found false, and hath giuen false witnes against his brother,

  6. Then shall yee doe vnto him as hee had thought to doe vnto his brother: so thou shalt take euil away forth of the middes of thee.

  7. And the rest shall heare this, and feare, and shall henceforth commit no more any such wickednes among you.

  8. These sixe things doeth the Lord hate: yea, his soule abhorreth seuen:

  9. The hautie eyes, a lying tongue, and the hands that shed innocent blood,

  10. An heart that imagineth wicked enterprises, feete that be swift in running to mischiefe,

  11. A false witnesse that speaketh lyes, and him that rayseth vp contentions among brethren.

  12. Then said he vnto me, This is the curse that goeth foorth ouer the whole earth: for euery one that stealeth, shalbe cut off aswell on this side, as on that: and euery one that sweareth, shall be cut off aswell on this side, as on that.

  13. I will bring it forth, saith the Lord of hosts, and it shall enter into the house of the thiefe, and into the house of him, that falsely sweareth by my Name: and it shall remaine in the middes of his house, and shall consume it, with the timber thereof, and stones thereof.

  14. Knowing this, that the Lawe is not giuen vnto a righteous man, but vnto the lawles and disobedient, to the vngodly, and to sinners, to the vnholy, and to the prophane, to murtherers of fathers and mothers, to manslayers,

  15. To whoremongers, to buggerers, to menstealers, to lyers, to the periured, and if there be any other thing, that is contrary to wholesome doctrine,
