Bible Verses About Seeking God

And they came with haste: and they found Mary and Joseph, and the infant lying in the manger.

The life is more than the meat: and the body is more than the raiment.

For all these things do the nations of the world seek. But your Father knoweth that you have need of these things.

But seek ye first the kingdom of God and his justice: and all these things shall be added unto you.

How can you believe, who receive glory one from another: and the glory which is from God alone, you do not seek?

There is none that understandeth: there is none that seeketh after God.

All have turned out of the way: they are become unprofitable together: there is none that doth good, there is not so much as one.

But knowing that man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, we also believe in Christ Jesus, that we may be justified by the faith of Christ and not by the works of the law: because by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified.

But if, while we seek to be justified in Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is Christ then the minister of sin? God forbid!

But without faith it is impossible to please God. For he that cometh to God must believe that he is: and is a rewarder to them that seek him.

For he looked for a city that hath foundations: whose builder and maker is God.

But now they desire a better, that is to say, a heavenly country. Therefore, God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.

For, we have not here a lasting city: but we seek one that is to come.
