  1. Thou shalt present also the calf before the tabernacle of the testimony. And Aaron and his sons shall lay their hands upon his head,

  2. And thou shalt kill him in the sight of the Lord, beside the door of the tabernacle of the testimony.

  3. And taking some of the blood of the calf, thou shalt put it upon the horns of the altar with thy finger, and the rest of the blood thou shalt pour at the bottom thereof.

  4. Thou shalt take also all the fat that covereth the entrails, and the caul of the liver, and the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them, and shalt offer a burn offering upon the altar:

  5. But the flesh of the calf, and the hide and the dung, thou shalt burn abroad, without the camp, because it is for sin.

  6. Thou shalt take also one ram, upon the head whereof Aaron and his sons shall lay their hands.

  7. And when thou hast killed him, thou shalt take of the blood thereof, and pour round about the altar.

  8. And thou shalt cut the ram in pieces, and having washed his entrails and feet, thou shalt put them upon the flesh that is cut in pieces, and upon his head.

  9. And thou shalt offer the whole ram for a burnt offering upon the altar: it is an oblation to the Lord, a most sweet savour of the victim of the Lord.

  10. Thou shalt take also the other ram, upon whose head Aaron and his sons shall lay their hands.

  11. He offered also the calf for sin: and when Aaron and his sons had put their hands upon the head thereof,

  12. He immolated it: and took the blood, and dipping his finger in it, he touched the horns of the altar round about. Which being expiated, and sanctified, he poured the rest of the blood at the bottom thereof.

  13. But the fat that was upon the entrails, and the caul of the liver, and the two little kidneys, with their fat, he burnt upon the altar.

  14. And the calf with the skin, and the flesh and the dung, he burnt without the camp, as the Lord had commanded.

  15. He offered also a ram for holocaust. And when Aaron and his sons had put their hands upon its head:

  16. He immolated it, and poured the blood thereof round about the altar.

  17. And cutting the ram into pieces, the head thereof, and the joints, and the fat he burnt in the fire.

  18. Having first washed the entrails, and the feet, and the whole ram together he burnt upon the altar: because it was a holocaust of most sweet odour to the Lord, as he had commanded him.

  19. He offered also the second ram, in the consecration of priests: and Aaron, and his sons put their hands upon the head thereof.

  20. And when Moses had immolated it, he took of the blood thereof, and touched the tip of Aaron's right ear, and the thumb of his right hand, and in like manner also the great toe of his right foot.

  21. But the priests were few, and were not enough to flay the holocausts: wherefore the Levites their brethren helped them, till the work was ended, and priests were sanctified, for the Levites are sanctified with an easier rite than the priests.

  22. And the phase was immolated: and the priests sprinkled the blood with their hand, and the Levites flayed the holocausts:
