Caesarea

But Philip was found in Azotus: and passing through, he preached the gospel to all the cities, till he came to Caesarea.

Which when the brethren had known, they brought him down to Caesarea and sent him away to Tarsus.

And there was a certain man in Caesarea, named Cornelius, a centurion of that which is called the Italian band:

And the morrow after, he entered into Caesarea. And Cornelius waited for them, having called together his kinsmen and special friends.

And behold, immediately there were three men come to the house wherein I was, sent to me from Caesarea.

And when Herod had sought for him and found him not, having examined the keepers, he commanded they should be put to death. And going down from Judea to Caesarea, he abode there.

And going down to Caesarea, he went up to Jerusalem and saluted the church: and so came down to Antioch.

And the next day departing, we came to Caesarea. And entering into the house of Philip the evangelist, who was one of the seven, we abode with him.

And there went also with us some of the disciples from Caesarea, bringing with them one Mnason a Cyprian, an old disciple, with whom we should lodge.

Then having called two centurions, he said to them: Make ready two hundred soldiers to go as far as Caesarea: and seventy horsemen and two hundred spearmen, for the third hour of the night.

Who, when they were come to Caesarea and had delivered the letter to the governor, did also present Paul before him.

Now when Festus was come into the province, after three days, he went up to Jerusalem from Cesarea.

But Festus answered: That Paul was kept in Caesarea: and that he himself would very shortly depart thither.

And having tarried among them no more than eight or ten days, he went down to Caesarea. And the next day, he sat in the judgment seat and commanded Paul to be brought.

And after some days, king Agrippa and Bernice came down to Caesarea, to salute Festus.

But Paul, appealing to be reserved unto the hearing of Augustus, I commanded him to be kept, till I might send him to Caesar.
