Bible Verses About Repentance: Should be evidenced by fruits

"Wash yourselves clean! Get your evil deeds out of my sight! Stop doing evil,

learn to do good! Seek justice, relieve the oppressed, defend orphans, plead for the widow.

Therefore, your majesty, please take my advice: break with your sins by replacing them with acts of charity, and break with your crimes by showing mercy to the poor; this may extend the time of your prosperity.'

If you have really turned from your sins to God, produce fruit that will prove it!

On the contrary, I announced first in Dammesek, then in Yerushalayim and throughout Y’hudah, and also to the Goyim, that they should turn from their sins to God and then do deeds consistent with that repentance.
