Bible Verses About Rachel: Her death and burial

And it came to pass, as her soul was departing (for she died), that she called his name Ben-oni: but his father called him Benjamin.

And Rachel died, and was buried in the way to Ephrath (the same is Beth-lehem).

And Jacob set up a pillar upon her grave: the same is the Pillar of Rachel’s grave unto this day.

And as for me, when I came from Paddan, Rachel died by me in the land of Canaan in the way, when there was still some distance to come unto Ephrath: and I buried her there in the way to Ephrath (the same is Beth-lehem).

When thou art departed from me to-day, then thou shalt find two men by Rachel’s sepulchre, in the border of Benjamin at Zelzah; and they will say unto thee, The asses which thou wentest to seek are found; and, lo, thy father hath left off caring for the asses, and is anxious for you, saying, What shall I do for my son?
