  1. The heaven and the earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

  2. And Zacharias his father was filled with the Holy Spirit, and did prophesy, saying,

  3. As He spake by the mouth of His holy prophets, Which have been from the age;

  11. And it shall be in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of My Spirit upon all flesh, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams;

  12. and God, what things before He had declared through the mouth of all His prophets, that the Christ should suffer, He did thus fulfil;

  13. `For Moses, indeed, unto the fathers said--A prophet to you shall the Lord your God raise up out of your brethren, like to me; him shall ye hear in all things, as many as he may speak unto you;

  14. and it shall be, every soul that may not hear that prophet shall be utterly destroyed out of the people;

  15. and also all the prophets from Samuel and those following in order, as many as spake, did also foretell of these days.

  16. to this one do all the prophets testify, that through his name every one that is believing in him doth receive remission of sins.'

  17. and one of them, by name Agabus, having stood up, did signify through the Spirit a great dearth is about to be throughout all the world--which also came to pass in the time of Claudius Caesar--

  18. for those dwelling in Jerusalem, and their chiefs, this one not having known, also the voices of the prophets, which every sabbath are being read--having judged him --did fulfil,

  19. and when they did complete all the things written about him, having taken him down from the tree, they laid him in a tomb;

  20. and he having come unto us, and having taken up the girdle of Paul, having bound also his own hands and feet, said, `Thus saith the Holy Spirit, The man whose is this girdle--so shall the Jews in Jerusalem bind, and they shall deliver him up to the hands of nations.'

  21. And not being agreed with one another, they were going away, Paul having spoken one word--`Well did the Holy Spirit speak through Isaiah the prophet unto our fathers,

  22. and it shall be--in the place where it was said to them, Ye are not My people; there they shall be called sons of the living God.'

  23. and to another in-workings of mighty deeds; and to another prophecy; and to another discernings of spirits; and to another divers kinds of tongues; and to another interpretation of tongues:

  24. and if I have prophecy, and know all the secrets, and all the knowledge, and if I have all the faith, so as to remove mountains, and have not love, I am nothing;

  25. and He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as proclaimers of good news, and some as shepherds and teachers,
