Bible Verses About Sleep: A symbol of death
Verses on A symbol of death
so man lies down and doesn’t rise. Until the heavens are no more, they shall not awake, nor be roused out of their sleep.
he said to them, “Make room, because the girl isn’t dead, but sleeping.” They were ridiculing him.
When he had entered in, he said to them, “Why do you make an uproar and weep? The child is not dead, but is asleep.”
All were weeping and mourning her, but he said, “Don’t weep. She isn’t dead, but sleeping.”
He said these things, and after that, he said to them, “Our friend, Lazarus, has fallen asleep, but I am going so that I may awake him out of sleep.”
The disciples therefore said, “Lord, if he has fallen asleep, he will recover.”
For if we believe that Yeshua died and rose again, even so God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep in Yeshua.
