  1. And Moses alone shall come near the LORD: but they shall not come nigh; neither shall the people go up with him.

  2. And he hewed two tables of stone like unto the first; and Moses rose up early in the morning, and went up unto mount Sinai, as the LORD had commanded him, and took in his hand the two tables of stone.

  8. And he shall take of the blood of the bullock, and sprinkle it with his finger upon the mercy seat eastward; and before the mercy seat shall he sprinkle of the blood with his finger seven times.

  9. ¶ Then shall he kill the goat of the sin offering, that is for the people, and bring his blood within the vail, and do with that blood as he did with the blood of the bullock, and sprinkle it upon the mercy seat, and before the mercy seat:

  10. For what nation is there so great, who hath God so nigh unto them, as the LORD our God is in all things that we call upon him for?

  11. ¶ A Psalm of David. LORD, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill?

  12. Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

  13. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.

  14. ¶ Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place?

  15. He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.

  16. One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple.

  18. My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God?

  19. O send out thy light and thy truth: let them lead me; let them bring me unto thy holy hill, and to thy tabernacles.

  20. Blessed is the man whom thou choosest, and causest to approach unto thee, that he may dwell in thy courts: we shall be satisfied with the goodness of thy house, even of thy holy temple.

  21. But it is good for me to draw near to God: I have put my trust in the Lord GOD, that I may declare all thy works.

  22. ¶ To the chief Musician upon Gittith, A Psalm for the sons of Korah. How amiable are thy tabernacles, O LORD of hosts!

  23. My soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of the LORD: my heart and my flesh crieth out for the living God.

  24. The LORD is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth.

  25. And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
