मी पार गळून व चिरडून गेलो आहे; माझ्या हृदयाच्या वेदनेने मी कण्हत आहे.

प्रभू माझी तीव्र इच्छा काय आहे, हे तुम्ही जाणता; माझा प्रत्येक उसासा तुम्ही ऐकता.

माझे हृदय धडधडत आहे, माझी शक्ती म्लान होत आहे; मी आंधळा होत आहे असे मला वाटते.
