Bible Verses About Servants: The term often used to express humility
Verses on The term often used to express humility
And he said: Lord, if I have found favour in thy sight, pass not away from thy servant.
And lifting up his eyes, he saw the women and their children, and said: What mean these? And do they belong to thee? He answered: They are the children which God hath given to me, thy servant.
If he shall say: It is well: thy servant shall have peace: but if he be angry, know that his malice is come to its height.
So they girded sackcloths on their loins, and put ropes on their heads, and came to the king of Israel, and said to him: Thy servant, Benadad, saith: I beseech thee let me have my life. And he said: If he be yet alive, he is my brother.
