Bible Verses About Quotations and Allusions: Hebrews 1:13, »Sit on my right hand...«
Verses on Hebrews 1:13, »Sit on my right hand...«
I will praise thee, O Lord, with my whole heart; in the council of the just, and in the congregation.
The Lord said to my Lord: Sit on my right hand, until I make thy enemies thy footstool?
For David himself saith by the Holy Ghost: The Lord said to my Lord: Sit on my right hand, until I make thy enemies thy footstool.
And David himself saith in the book of Psalms: The Lord said to my Lord, sit thou on my right hand,
Till I make thy enemies thy footstool.
For David ascended not into heaven; but he himself said: The Lord said to my Lord: Sit thou on my right hand,
Until I make thy enemies thy footstool.
But to which of the angels said he at any time: Sit on my right hand, until I make thy enemies thy footstool?
From henceforth expecting until his enemies be made his footstool.
