Key Bible Verses

Turn not away thy face from me; decline not in thy wrath from thy servant. Be thou my helper, forsake me not; do not thou despise me, O God my Saviour.
For my father and my mother have left me: but the Lord hath taken me up.
Woe to you that are mighty to drink wine, and stout men at drunkenness.
That justify the wicked for gifts, and take away the justice of the just from him.

He shall dwell on high, the fortifications of rocks shall be his highness: bread is given him, his waters are sure.
They have taken gifts in thee to shed blood: thou hast taken usury and increase, and hast covetously oppressed thy neighbours: and thou hast forgotten me, saith the Lord God.
Behold, I have clapped my hands at thy covetousness, which thou hast exercised: and at the blood that hath been shed in the midst of thee.
