  1. Meanwhile, Abner son of Ner, the commander of Saul’s army, took Saul’s son Ish-bosheth, moved him to Mahanaim,

  2. and made him king over Gilead, Asher, Jezreel, Ephraim, and Benjamin—over all Israel.
