Bible Verses About First Fruits

As an offering of first fruits you shall offer them to the LORD: but they shall not ascend for a pleasant aroma on the altar.

Every offering of your meal offering you shall season with salt; neither shall you allow the salt of the covenant of your God to be lacking from your meal offering. With all your offerings you shall offer salt.

“‘If you offer a meal offering of first fruits to the LORD, you shall offer for the meal offering of your first fruits grain in the ear parched with fire, bruised grain of the fresh ear.

You shall put oil on it, and lay frankincense on it: it is a meal offering.

The priest shall burn as its memorial, part of its bruised grain, and part of its oil, along with all its frankincense: it is an offering made by fire to the LORD.

“Speak to the children of Israel, and tell them, ‘When you have come into the land which I give to you, and shall reap its harvest, then you shall bring the sheaf of the first fruits of your harvest to the priest:

and he shall wave the sheaf before the LORD, to be accepted for you. On the next day after the Sabbath the priest shall wave it.

On the day when you wave the sheaf, you shall offer a male lamb without defect a year old for a burnt offering to the LORD.

The meal offering with it shall be two tenth parts of an efah of fine flour mingled with oil, an offering made by fire to the LORD for a pleasant aroma; and the drink offering with it shall be of wine, the fourth part of a hin.

You shall eat neither bread, nor roasted grain, nor fresh grain, until this same day, until you have brought the offering of your God. This is a statute forever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.

You shall come to the priest who shall be in those days, and tell him, “I profess this day to the LORD your God, that I have come to the land which the LORD swore to our fathers to give us.”

The priest shall take the basket out of your hand, and set it down before the altar of the LORD your God.

You shall answer and say before the LORD your God, “My father was a Syrian ready to perish. He went down into Egypt, and lived there, few in number. There he became a great, mighty, and populous nation.

The Egyptians mistreated us, afflicted us, and imposed hard labor on us.

Then we cried to the LORD, the God of our fathers. the LORD heard our voice, and saw our affliction, our toil, and our oppression.

the LORD brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand, with an outstretched arm, with great terror, with signs, and with wonders;

and he has brought us into this place, and has given us this land, a land flowing with milk and honey.

Now, behold, I have brought the first of the fruit of the ground, which you, the LORD, have given me.” You shall set it down before the LORD your God, and worship before the LORD your God.
