Pontius

The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of our fathers, has glorified his Servant Yeshua, whom you delivered up, and denied in the presence of Pilate, when he had determined to release him.

Though they found no cause for death, they still asked Pilate to have him killed.

I command you before God, who gives life to all things, and before Messiah Yeshua, who before Pontius Pilate testified the good confession,
