  1. ¶ And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:

  2. And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.

  3. And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.

  4. ¶ And the flood was forty days upon the earth; and the waters increased, and bare up the ark, and it was lift up above the earth.

  10. And every living substance was destroyed which was upon the face of the ground, both man, and cattle, and the creeping things, and the fowl of the heaven; and they were destroyed from the earth: and Noah only remained alive, and they that were with him in the ark.

  12. ¶ Surely there is a vein for the silver, and a place for gold where they fine it.

  13. Iron is taken out of the earth, and brass is molten out of the stone.

  16. As for the earth, out of it cometh bread: and under it is turned up as it were fire.

  17. It cannot be gotten for gold, neither shall silver be weighed for the price thereof.

  18. It cannot be valued with the gold of Ophir, with the precious onyx, or the sapphire.

  19. The gold and the crystal cannot equal it: and the exchange of it shall not be for jewels of fine gold.

  20. No mention shall be made of coral, or of pearls: for the price of wisdom is above rubies.

  21. The topaz of Ethiopia shall not equal it, neither shall it be valued with pure gold.

  22. How long wilt thou sleep, O sluggard? when wilt thou arise out of thy sleep?

  23. Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep:

  24. So shall thy poverty come as one that travelleth, and thy want as an armed man.

  25. The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.
