గెదల్యా హత్య జరిగిన మరుసటిరోజు, ఆ విషయం ఎవరికీ తెలియకముందే,

తమ గడ్డాలు గీసుకుని, బట్టలు చింపుకుని, తమను తాము గాయపరచుకున్న ఎనభైమంది షెకెము, షిలోహు, సమరయ నుండి భోజనార్పణలు, ధూపం తీసుకుని యెహోవా ఆలయానికి వచ్చారు.
