എലീഹൂദ് എലീയാസരെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു; എലീയാസർ മത്ഥാനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു; മത്ഥാൻ യാക്കോബിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.

യാക്കോബ് മറിയയുടെ ഭൎത്താവായ യോസേഫിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു. അവളിൽ നിന്നു ക്രിസ്തു എന്നു പേരുള്ള യേശു ജനിച്ചു.
