¶ A Song of degrees. Behold, bless ye the LORD, all ye servants of the LORD, which by night stand in the house of the LORD.

Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the LORD.

Verse 1

Verse 3
This verse serves as the priestly response, reciprocating the blessing offered by the servants (vv. 1-2). Invoking God as 'Maker of heaven and earth' grounds the blessing in His ultimate sovereignty and creative power. Zion is the source from which God’s authoritative blessing flows.
