And if thy brother be waxen poor, and fallen in decay with thee; then thou shalt relieve him: [yea, though he be] a stranger, or a sojourner; that he may live with thee.

Reprove not a scorner, lest he hate thee: rebuke a wise man, and he will love thee.
Give [instruction] to a wise [man], and he will be yet wiser: teach a just [man], and he will increase in learning.
¶ Hear counsel, and receive instruction, that thou mayest be wise in thy latter end.
Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.
Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
¶ He that walketh with wise [men] shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.
Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you.
