¶ Happy [is] the man that feareth alway: but he that hardeneth his heart shall fall into mischief.

Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, [and] as [in] the day of temptation in the wilderness:
¶ He, that being often reproved hardeneth [his] neck, shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy.
¶ Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left [us] of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.
¶ Praise ye the LORD. Blessed [is] the man [that] feareth the LORD, [that] delighteth greatly in his commandments.
¶ I have set the LORD always before me: because [he is] at my right hand, I shall not be moved.
Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?
[He is] wise in heart, and mighty in strength: who hath hardened [himself] against him, and hath prospered?
And the magicians of Egypt did so with their enchantments: and Pharaoh's heart was hardened, neither did he hearken unto them; as the LORD had said.

I have overthrown [some] of you, as God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah, and ye were as a firebrand plucked out of the burning: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD.
