¶ And there came a leper to him, beseeching him, and kneeling down to him, and saying unto him, If thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.

And he charged him to tell no man: but go, and shew thyself to the priest, and offer for thy cleansing, according as Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.
To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:
¶ And when he came to [his] disciples, he saw a great multitude about them, and the scribes questioning with them.
And he said unto them, This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting.
He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were [our] faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.

Reproach hath broken my heart; and I am full of heaviness: and I looked [for some] to take pity, but [there was] none; and for comforters, but I found none.
And began to salute him, Hail, King of the Jews!
And as Peter was coming in, Cornelius met him, and fell down at his feet, and worshipped [him].
But Peter took him up, saying, Stand up; I myself also am a man.
