Thy faithfulness is unto all generations: thou hast established the earth, and it abideth.
How sweet are thy words unto my taste! yea, sweeter than honey to my mouth!
NUN. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

In view of this, the psalmist himself says in another passage, “He that dwells in the aid of the most High shall say to the Lord, ‘You are my supporter and my refuge.’ ” The first support is that of God’s working in us, the second in that of his protection of us.
