¶ Then Pilate therefore took Jesus, and scourged [him].
¶ Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
¶ And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:
Confess [your] faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;
