പുലൎച്ചെക്കു മഹാപുരോഹിതന്മാരും ജനത്തിന്റെ മൂപ്പന്മാരും എല്ലാം യേശുവിനെ കൊല്ലുവാൻ കൂടിവിചാരിച്ചു,

അവനെ ബന്ധിച്ചു കൊണ്ടുപോയി നാടുവാഴിയായ പീലാത്തൊസിനെ ഏല്പിച്ചു.
