Now therefore put away, [said he], the strange gods which [are] among you, and incline your heart unto the LORD God of Israel.
Now therefore put away {H5493}, said he, the strange {H5236} gods {H430} which are among {H7130} you, and incline {H5186} your heart {H3824} unto the LORD {H3068} God {H430} of Israel {H3478}.
"Now," Y'hoshua urged, "put away the foreign gods you have among you, and turn your hearts to ADONAI, the God of Isra'el."
“Now, therefore,” he said, “get rid of the foreign gods among you and incline your hearts to the LORD, the God of Israel.”
