Commentary
For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
And he shewed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the LORD, and Satan standing at his right hand to resist him.
Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and stood before the angel.
Now in this, by that wondrous sacrifice, Elijah clearly proclaimed to us the sacramental rite of baptism that should afterwards be instituted.
