Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed [himself] to him that judgeth righteously:

Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not.
And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word,
¶ Behold, thou art called a Jew, and restest in the law, and makest thy boast of God,
Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.
Hearken unto me, ye that know righteousness, the people in whose heart [is] my law; fear ye not the reproach of men, neither be ye afraid of their revilings.
And they that passed by reviled him, wagging their heads,
But and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake, happy [are ye]: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled;
He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
